Refund and Withdrawal Policy
This policy applies to all digital products sold through this store, including ebooks, protocols, guides, courses, and any other downloadable or digitally delivered content.
Your statutory right of withdrawal
Under European Union consumer law (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and Portuguese Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014), as a consumer you have the right to withdraw from any distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
Important — waiver for digital products
Our products are digital and are delivered immediately upon purchase. At checkout, you are asked to give explicit consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that, by doing so, you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive.
If you complete the purchase and tick the consent box, the product is delivered to you immediately and the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
If you did not waive your right of withdrawal
If you completed a purchase without giving this consent, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to withdraw and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, email us at shop@williamdickinson.co.uk with your name, order number, and a statement of withdrawal. The refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt.
Discretionary refunds
Outside the statutory withdrawal right, we may offer refunds at our discretion in the following circumstances:
- Technical issues preventing access to or download of the digital file, where we are unable to resolve the issue within 7 days of the request
- Accidental duplicate purchases of the same product
- Charges that you did not authorise (please contact us before disputing with your bank)
Discretionary refunds are not granted for reasons such as a change of mind, dissatisfaction with the content, or subjective claims that a product "did not work." The product description, sample content, and customer reviews are made available on each product's sales page to help you make an informed decision before purchase.
How to request a discretionary refund
Email shop@williamdickinson.co.uk with:
- Your full name
- The email address used at checkout
- Your order number
- A brief explanation of the issue
We aim to respond within 2 business days.
Approved refunds
If a refund is approved, the amount will be returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Your access to the digital product will be revoked.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We will always try to resolve issues directly. Chargebacks issued without a prior refund request may result in a permanent block from future purchases.
