Gut Health Practitioner

The practitioner who's been the patient.

William Dickinson helps people rebuild their gut health, often after they have already tried everything else. His method is the one he first used on himself.

William did not set out to become a gut health practitioner. He became one because he had to fix his own health first.

Years of digestive problems, brain fog and exhaustion, the kind that doctors kept telling him looked fine. When the conventional answers ran out, he went looking for the real ones: the microbiome, detoxification, histamine, mold, and the way stress and unresolved emotion quietly shape physical health.

What he learned rebuilding his own health became the method he now uses with clients.

That method is deliberately unglamorous. No six-figure promises. No “heal your gut in 21 days.” Just methodical, paced, evidence-grounded work, the opposite of the aggressive, one-size-fits-all protocols that leave so many people worse off.

Why he writes it all down.

Over the years, the same questions came up again and again in one-to-one practice. The guides exist so that people who cannot work with William directly can still follow the same sequence, clearly, in plain language and at their own pace.

He has now reviewed over 3,000 stool tests and worked with clients across five continents, from post-antibiotic recovery to complex, years-long cases that conventional medicine had given up on.

Areas of focus

What William works with.

Gut health & the microbiome

IBS, SIBO, candida, bloating and rebuilding balance after it has been disrupted.

Post-antibiotic recovery

Protecting and restoring the gut before, during and after a course of antibiotics.

Histamine intolerance

Understanding the triggers and patterns behind reactions that seem to come from nowhere.

Mold illness & detoxification

A paced, careful approach to reducing burden without overwhelming the system.

Food sensitivities

Finding hidden triggers so eating stops feeling like a minefield.

The mind-body connection

Addressing the stress and emotional patterns that keep physical symptoms locked in place.

How he works

Methodical, paced, evidence-grounded.

Root cause, not symptom-chasing

The goal is to understand why something is happening, not just quiet it down for a week.

Slower is faster

Aggressive protocols often backfire. Steady, sequenced steps hold, and that is what lasts.

No one-size-fits-all

Where William works with someone directly, the plan is built around their history and results.

Human, not a lecture

Complex health made understandable, because you cannot follow a plan you do not understand.
